Reactions as Portable congratulates Adeleke After winning Osun gubernatorial Election

Obi Cubana remarked, "Portable no get enemy." while another prominent follower of Portable said, "Election no be war… In the spirit of sportsmanship celebrating the winner."

These, and many more were the mixed reactions that filled up the page of street-pop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, (a.k.a. Portable), not long after he made a post on his social media handle, congratulating Senator Ademola Adeleke for winning the Osun's Gubernatorial election that was conducted on Saturday. 

According to a report from The PUNCH, Senator Ademola Adeleke who is a PDP candidate has now been declared the winner of the Osun governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). 

Adeleke was said to have beaten the incumbent governor of Osun State Adegboyega Oyetola of the APC party who had a total of 375,027 votes, after getting a total vote of 403,371. 

However, following the declaration of Adeleke as the winner of the election, Portable didn't take long to congratulate him. On his wall, he wrote, "Congratulations… ADEMOLA ADELEKE IMOLE TI DE". 

To many who believe Portable to be an ardent supporter of the main opposition party of Adeleke APC, given the way he has heavily campaigned for them in the final rallies of the two main parties for the 2022 election, had seen his post as a surprise.

Others felt it's a normal thing for one who has a sportsmanship spirit to do, while some fans see it as a kind of stunt by the popular street singer.
