Why i want to be President - Osinbajo
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said that work is the only reason he wants to be number one in the country.
VP, who is in Jigawa state to advise representatives of the All Progressives Congress (APC): “When I have been in the position of vice president for seven years, I know that God has not given me that opportunity, let me sit. somewhere and write stories of my work as vice president.
“In this country, there is a lot of hope; this country has everything it needs to be great, with men and women who can serve. I am very hopeful that everything will be fine with our country. ”
While he acknowledged the support he has been receiving for his presidential candidacy, Osinbajo told officials that his sole purpose in seeking the highest position in the country is to serve the country only.
Similarly, Senator Bukola Saraki has promised to free up powerful mining subdivisions to create jobs as a way to address insecurity in the country.
Announcing this yesterday, when he met Kogi state representatives in Lokoja, Saraki called for him to be chosen as one of their constituents in the presidential race for the first time since the return of democracy in 1999.
The two-time governor of Kwara state and two-term president of the Senate stressed that he had the strength and experience to lead the country out of its current situation.
He added that as the former chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF), he had been tested and trusted to control the country's affairs, adding that he was giving up too much when he met him.
